Abstract

The hotel industry is developing and forming large network associations, using franchising management system, while creating a unique hotel brand. The aim of the study is to update the management system of hotel enterprises using franchising in the hotel industry on the basis of evaluation of factors and trends in franchise technology development. Methods: analysis, deduction and induction, systematization, interpreta-
tion, identifying cause-effect relationships, comparative-descriptive and statistical methods. Results: the theoretical aspects of the formation of hotel chains, their management with the help of franchising system were considered, the factors and trends in the development of franchising in the hotel industry were identified. This article presents developing models of hotel franchising, through which the entrepreneur is able to acquire
ownership of the business. Scientific novelty: the concept of a hotel chain is clarified; the system of management of hotel enterprises with the use of franchising on the basis of modified franchising models is actualized. Practical significance of the research lies in the systematiza-tion of data on the assessment of global and domestic practice of franchising in hotel chains.
